Here is some great info about your upcoming session

I love the Sun! Mainly near sunset or sunrise. Your session will most likely take place around these times to achieve the best light and look.

I like to have fun! I will get a few posed photos but after that I want you to interact as a family. Tickle, laugh, sing songs, kiss, hug, and probably some silly faces in there. If you're mom and worried if your children are going to behave, don't stress. You will want to remember them this way, this is real life. At our last family photo session my 4 yr cried the entire session! We still ended up with great photos and a laughable memory I will remind him about when he brings his first girlfriend home.

I try not to use flash, there are times it's necessary. When shooting indoors I prefer natural light near a window or doors.

Outfits are important! I prefer neutrals with small pops of color. Pinterest always has tips and ideas to get the right look for your family. I can always help with any styling questions you may come across.

I have multiple locations around the KC metro that I use for your session. Whether you like nature or a more urban look, we can work together to find a location.If you have a meaningful location I would love to hear about it!
